RSC's Strategy
Matthew 28:18-20: Jesus came and told his disciples, "I have been given complete authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age."
"Go and make disciples". How does that happen? At Rock Springs Church, our purpose is to develop fully devoted followers of Christ, or disciples. RSC has a three-fold process that represents three environments to help you become a fully devoted follower of Jesus Christ. These environments, in and of themselves, cannot make anybody a disciple of Jesus Christ. However, they provide the tools and atmosphere that the Holy Spirit can use to grow people into becoming fully devoted followers of Chirst.

Love Christ
Matthew 22:37-38: Jesus replied, "You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment."
The Love Christ environment is the Sunday morning worship service and it serves as the "front door" to Rock Springs Church. In this environment, we worship our God through praise and worship and the preaching of God's word. Through practical messages that relate to every day living and an appeal to enter into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, people, whether churched or unchurched, can learn what it means to truly love Christ.
Also within the Love Christ environment is Dinner with the Pastor. This dinner is for anyone who is interested in more information about Rock Springs Church or is interested in becoming a member. You will learn more about RSC's strategy, vision, and purpose, as well as getting to meet the staff and ask questions. Dinner with the Pastor serves as a catalyst to move people to the Love the Community environment

Reach the World
Acts 1:8 "But when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, you will receive power and will tell people about me everywhere--in Jerusalem, in Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."
In the Bible, the church is referred to as the "body of Christ." When Jesus walked upon the face of the earth, he ministered to people's needs and helped them discover that true life came through a relationship with him. As He did this, Jesus also taught and trained twelve disciples that were given the charge of fulfilling the same type of ministry that Jesus offered. These disciples later became known as the leaders of the first church. God's brilliant strategy to reach the world involves Christians using their passions, gifts and talents to minister to this world in the same way that Jesus did. The "reach the world" environment serves as the catalyst for believers to go out into the world using the gifts and talents that God has gifted them with in order to accomplish the task of reaching the world for the sake of Jesus Christ.
We encourage every believer to be in the process of becoming a fully devoted follower of Jesus Christ and our strategy is to help believers accomplish this task. Where are you in the process?
